InfoFinder AS

Founded in 2000, InfoFinder AS has been developing Enterprise Search software for the Nordic market for more than a decade.

The company was established in the innovative research environment of the NTNU and SINTEF in the Norwegian search capital, Trondheim, and our technology center is still located in the city.

Our main product is the InfoFinder Enteprise Search Server - which is one of the most eligible Enterprise Search servers on the market. On a daily basis, 20.000 users from more than 300 companies in the private and public sector in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Spain and the United States is finding all sorts of documents using the InfoFinder. 

In 2007 the company merged with Ocelluz, a company specialized in database search technologies. The merger has allowed InfoFinder to expand its portfolio with a built-in database, an application search function, and a toolbox for consulting companies and IT-departments. In 2009, InfoFinder AS and the sister company in the United States, InfoFinder Inc., merged our activites. The joined company headquarteres are located in Florida, USA. The Nordic operations is based in Oslo, Norway, and our Nordic technology center is located in Trondheim.
